Laudato Si' Week is May 22-29

Laudato Si’ Week 2022 will take place May 22-29 to mark the 7th anniversary of Pope Francis’ landmark encyclical on creation care. This global celebration calls Catholics to listen and respond to the cry of creation and journey together to protect our common home. (LS 13)

Laudato Si’ was signed by Pope Francis
in 2015 on May 24th,
the day on which the Church celebrates
  "The
Feast of Mary Help of Christians"

 This May 24th Tucson Catholics
are invited to a special
  Laudato Si' Week

prayer hour at
Our Mother of Sorrows Parish
 to pray the
 "Laudato Si' Rosary."
Benediction will follow.

This is a beautiful opportunity
 for us to meditate
on Mary as
“the Mother and Queen of all creation."

Tuesday May 24th
at 6:00 PM
Our Mother of Sorrows Parish Church
1800 S. Kolb Road, Tucson Arizona

"She is the Woman, ‘clothed in the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars’ (Rev 12:1). Carried up into heaven, she is the Mother and Queen of all creation. In her glorified body, together with the Risen Christ, part of creation has reached the fullness of its beauty.”
